Mr. Allen L. Sampson joined UMES in 2001 and he is currently Lecturer of Marketing and Management in the Department of Business, Management and Accounting. He received an MBA in Marketing from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1971 and a B.S. in Chemistry from Morgan State University. Mr. Sampson is an Eastern Shore native, attending elementary and high schools in Dorchester County. His teaching responsibilities include: Introduction to Business, Management and Organizational Behavior, Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship, Principles of Marketing, Sales Management, Retail Management and Professional Development.
Mr. Sampson has an extensive corporate management career having held marketing and management positions with Fortune 100 companies including Joseph E. Seagram’s and Sons, Proctor and Gamble, Federated Department Stores, Target Stores and H. B. Fuller.
In addition, he serves as assistant faculty advisor for freshman, vice president of Sigma Beta Delta (the Business Honor Society) and Coordinator of the Internship Study Program.
