The UMES Concert Choir is open to the entire university community. All undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff and any other residents of the community interested in singing are welcomed. New members are auditioned prior to the beginning of each semester. Special arrangements can be made for auditions by simply contacting the director.

The primary purpose of the audition is not to weed people out, but to get to know the voices which will comprise the choir.

Our motto is " Come to us with talent and motivation, and a cooperative spirit, and we'll make a musician of you "
