The Frederick Douglass Library is excited to announce that we have joined with Maryland AskUsNow! to offer students, faculty and staff 24/7 reference service via chat.

The service allows the library to offer reference service whenever/wherever you may need it.  Librarians from the Frederick Douglass Library chat only during certain hours, so you may be helped by a non-UMES librarian.  Providing a valid e-mail address will allow a librarian from the Frederick Douglass Library to follow up on your question.

AskUsNow! is a live online interactive service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week that uses the expertise of librarians to provide answers to questions, research guidance, and help navigating the internet. AskUsNow! is a cooperative service of Maryland libraries.

If you have any questions about the service, contact Theresa Mastrodonato (tmmastrodonato@umes.edu or 410-651-7694), liaison for the Maryland AskUsNow! program.
