What is find it?
Find it is a new service which links online
journals and databases to full text, catalog, interlibrary loan and e-reference
service. When you find a citation that is perfect for you, click on
find it to get everything related to that
citation.
How is find it used?
After conducting a search, the results will display a
find it button (
)
if the full text of the article is not available within the database.

Click on the
button to see if the article is available in any of our databases.
The screen which appears will allow you to link to either:

NOTE: Although the full-text is available, it does not link directly to the article.

What to do if the electronic version of the article is not available:

Check in the UMES Library Catalog | |

Request a document via Inter-Library Loan - if the item is not available either electronically or in the library collection, use the Inter-library Loan services |
If you need additional assistance, you may either:

Send a reference question via "Ask a Librarian." (48 hour turn around time excluding weekends). | |

Read the "find it" FAQ. | |
|
Go to the reference desk for assistance. |
Sometimes journals have similar names, in which case, find it will ask you to clarify which journal you need.

Once you select your the journal you want. Find it will complete the search.
