Human Ecology
Undergraduate Research Program
Our Undergraduate Research Program is designed to engage students in the Department of Human Ecology in experiential learning focused on defining, developing, and conducting research projects. Research projects will reflect students' individual research interests in child/human development, nutrition/dietetics, gerontology, family studies, or fashion/retailing. To facilitate the research process, each student will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance during the research project. Students will have the opportunity to travel to present research results at professional conferences and to submit manuscripts of research for publication in scholarly journals
