Adjunct Faculty members are needed for the Department of English and Modern Languages. We are looking for experienced individuals to teach courses in English (Composition, Grammar, and Literature); Modern Languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Haitian Creole, Hindi, Russian, and Spanish); Speech; Telecommunications; and Theatre. Because this position is part-time, it is recommended that applicants live on the Maryland Eastern Shore in Somerset, Wicomico or Worcester County.
A master’s degree is required, with at least 18 graduate credits in the discipline. College teaching experience, a willingness to use technology in the classroom to enhance student learning, and a strong commitment to teaching excellence are also required, as well as an ability to get along with others. Individuals with degrees outside of the US may be subject to verification. Verification of degree is the responsibility of the candidate.
