Department of Criminal Justice
The School of the Arts and Professions invites resumes for a nine month, tenure track appointment beginning January, 2014 or August,2014. Salary is commensurate with qualification and experience.
Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in criminal justice; develop new courses; review/modify existing courses; pursue external sources of funding; and advising. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Department Chair.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from an accredited institution or Ph.D. in a closely related field required. Excellent oral and written communication and time management skills required. Must have the ability to work with a culturally diverse student population. Ability to work as a team and to get along with others is required. Note: Individuals with degrees outside of the US may be subject to verification. Verification of degree is the responsibility of the candidate.
