Dining Services Department
Resumes are being accepted for a full-time, exempt, position with benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Manager will report to the Director of Dining Services.
Responsibilities: Supervises and trains subordinate personnel and students; ensures adequate supplies, materials, and equipment are available in front of the house; covers cashier at register during employee breaks; supervise set up and break down of front of the house; and schedules student employees. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Management or business administration preferred. Two years of experience in a food service establishment as a manager required. Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher required. Skill in operating food service equipment and appliances required. Proper food handling, storage, and inventory skills required. Ability to resolve employee concerns diplomatically required. Must have proper cash handling skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more required. Exceptional customer service skills required. Ability to get along with others requires.
