Department of English and Modern Languages
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore is currently accepting resumes for a nine month, tenure track, full-time position. Salary is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university guidelines.
Responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester to include but not limited to composition and literature courses; student advising; and department, school, and university committee responsibilities. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Earned doctorate degree in English and/or Communication required. Experience teaching on the college or university level required. Must have experience teaching English Composition, Speech and/or Literature courses. Familiarity with Blackboard, MyWritingLab, SafeAssign, and Smartthinking programs is preferred. Note: Individuals with degrees outside of the US may be subject to verification. Verification of degree is the responsibility of the candidate.
