Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Science and graduate programs in
Chemistry, Marine & Estuarine Environmental Sciences, and Toxicology.

Responsibilities: The positions will involve teaching undergraduate
level courses and laboratories in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry,
Environmental Science and Physics. Additional responsibilities include: Participation
in course/lab planning; student assessment and course evaluation activities;
participation in faculty orientation and development activities; participation
in pre- and post-semester meetings to assist in improving instruction.
degree in an appropriate discipline required. Preference will be given to
candidates with a Ph.D., previous teaching experience and working knowledge of
instructional technology. Candidates should have a strong commitment to
teaching excellence and be able to implement active learning strategies in
their classes. Successful candidates will work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural
environment and must possess excellent communication skills (verbal and
written). The ability to work a flexible
schedule that may include evening hours may be an advantage. Individuals with
