School of Pharmacy
The School of Pharmacy invites resumes
for a full-time, twelve-month, Exempt position with full benefits. Salary is
commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities: Contributes to the research activities of
Pharmaceutical Sciences faculty members to include designing and performing
experiments, analyzing data, and preparing
research results for publication; operates (under the supervision of a Pharmaceutical
Sciences faculty members) Pharmaceutical Lab to include preparation of stock
material and supplies, supervising and assisting students as they conduct
experiments (such as the compounding of pharmaceuticals); and ensuring
compliance with all safety procedures in accordance with University policy. Performs
other related duties as assigned. Opportunities are available to teach and
facilitate student learning for Pharm.D students in Pharmacology,
Pharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Calculations.
Qualifications: M.S. or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences,
Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent degree required. Two years of research and/or
teaching experience in pharmaceutical compounding, cell/molecular biology
and/or analytical chemistry required. Excellent communication skills (verbal
and written) required. Student engagement in the learning process is required.
Efficient organization and planning skills required. Note:
