The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) invites
applications for a full-time, twelve month, non-tenure track faculty position
in the area of acute care/internal medicine.
The practice site for this position is Peninsula Regional Medical Center
(PRMC) in nearby Salisbury, MD.

didactic and experiential education in pharmacy practice, specifically acute
care internal medicine and related subjects; participate in direct patient
care; develop/maintain a practice which supports interactions with other health
professionals; develop/revise course(s) in the doctor of pharmacy curriculum to
meet and exceed accreditation standards; cooperate and coordinate with others
in team-taught courses; develop and commit to scholarly activity; serve on
School and University committees; and participate in regional and/or national
professional organizations along with peers and students. Performs other
related duties as assigned.

preferred or at least three (3) years of comparable experience. Excellent
communication skills (verbal and written) required. Team approach to patient
care required. Demonstration of teaching excellence, including student
engagement in the learning process required. Efficient organization skills and
a record of leadership required. Experience in didactic and experiential
teaching preferable. Current Maryland pharmacy license, or eligibility for
Maryland licensure required.
