Mathematics Placement Test
All freshmen attending UMES need to have written Accuplacer Test prior to registering for Mathematics Courses.
The guidelines for placing you into appropriate mathematics course use the following rules:

If ((The Score Of Elementary Algebra Is Less Than Or Equal To 51.0) AND (The Score Of College Level Math Is Less Than or EqualThan 62))

Intermediate Algebra

This Suggested Rule Applies To All Majors.
(1) Chairman, Department of Mathematics & Computer Science will have the final decision in case of any conflict.
