• Attract and retain well qualified faculty who care about the students, their success and advice them accordingly
• Develop and implement up-to-date practical-oriented curriculum that provides a balance between theory and practice
• Develop and maintain the laboratories, computing facilities and class room instructions at par with any Math and CS programs in nation.
• Provide co-curricular opportunities for students via participation in student programming and design competitions, mathematical skills, professional students organizations and pre-professional employment
• Encourage undergraduate and graduate students to participate in inter-disciplinary research activities and industry-funded design projects
• Develop and maintain internship and cooperative opportunities for students
• Develop and maintain mutual cooperation and partnership with area industries
