Your Invitation 

The Graduate Council's Research Committee at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) invites you to the 2012 Regional Research Symposium. The Exhibitor and the Student Presentations will open on Thursday, April 19, 2012.  Please click here for your letter of invitation.

Symposium Information

The symposium will present a forum to discuss research at regional universities, colleges and industry.  Oral and poster presentations of research by students (graduate and undergraduate) and faculty will be featured.  The best of each will receive awards. 

Symposium Registration:

Participant registration is conducted online from this page.  Exhibitors may print out a registration form for MAIL IN ENTRY, click here.

The registration deadline is February 10, 2012.

Submission of Abstracts:

The deadline for submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentation competition is December 2, 2011. Instructions for preparation of the oral presentations and poster presentations are available.  Please view instructions.  Abstracts should be submitted online.  Please submit your abstracts.

Symposium Participant Registration Fee:

Participant registration is $150, including meals and functions.  Payments are accepted through our Credit Card Mail In Form. click here.

Exhibitor Registration Fee:

Exhibitor registration fee is $225. Exhibitors will be provided space for the set-up of a skirted display table on Thursday April 19, 2012 by 9:00 AM and breakdown at 4:00 PM. Exhibitors may contact Mrs. Donna Price at 410-651-8626 for further information.   The deadline for exhibitor registration is March 30, 2012.  Payments are accepted through our Credit Card Mail In Form. click here.
