System Administration serves as the headquarters
for the University System of Maryland. Under the direction of the
Chancellor, System Administration supports the Board of Regents in
governing USM, assists the USM institutions in fulfilling their distinct
missions, and facilitates partnerships among institutions within and
beyond the University System. Through leadership, strategic planning,
and resource management, System Administration enhances the quality
and accessibility of the System’s services to the people of Maryland.
The thirteen listed institutions make up the University
System of Maryland.
