UMES-ASME Student Section Meeting

Attendance: Theresa Moody, Keith Parks, Tina Drew, Nnenna Ofurum, Denis Amisial and Dr. Yilmaz were present.

Talked about:

- Dr. Yilmaz informed that he deposited $32.03 into ASME account as net profits from

ASME bake sale which was held few weeks ago. Total account balance now should be

about $380.00.

-Elections

-We decided to have the elections on May 6 2003.

Positions that will be open are: Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, V.C. for Membership, Projects Coordinator, and Web Master.

-Constitution

-The goal is to finish the constitution by Friday 4/25/03

-Field Trips

-We plan to go to D.C to the ASME Conference on 11/16/03. If you are interested in going, contact Dr. Yilmaz.

-We talked about visiting Matech this semester which is an automated manufacturing factory. Dr. Yilmaz will contact them to arrange a trip.

-We talked about visiting COMTEK (Filtronic)
