Minutes of ASME Student Section Meeting

November 9, 2006

11:00am-11:30pm

 

 

Attendance:

Omar A Omar, Edward, Lee, Jerome, Kamau, Tope, Travis, Tim (a new member), Phillip (new member), and briefly Dr. Nagchaudhuri was in attendance.

 

Students have met to schedule project work hours and open a discussion about the project.  There are two new members showed interest in participating on the project and on becoming ASME members.  A discussion has been initiated in regard to the delay that accompanied the ASEE project and it’s consequences on the success of this project. Due to the fact there were a lot of questions about the project, a walkdown has been scheduled for November, 16^th 2006.

 

 

Info About Projects:

 

·        ASEE Model Design Competition

Consist of designing a vehicle which will deliver 6 ping-pong balls into 18 oz Solo cups located at the ends of 2ft wide, 12 ft long track. Open to freshmen and sophomore students only. Info is at: http://www.tcc.edu/faculty/webpages/pgordy/asee/ASEE2007/index.html
