Greetings! and Welcome to the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug(ATOD) Prevention Resource Center! We have some amazing initiatives underway. The ATOD Prevention Center was created in 1998 after receiving partial funding from the Alcohol Drug Abuse Administration (ADAA). Since that time the ATOD Prevention Center has been 100% funded by ADAA in an effort to provide ATOD Prevention efforts.

The ATOD Prevention Center, located at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s Childhood Research Building is under the leadership of the School of Arts and Professions. The ATOD Center provides a focal point to optimize prevention efforts on five campuses including the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Salisbury State University, Chesapeake College, Washington College, and Wor-Wic Tech Community College.
