Meet Our Peer Educators

Peer Educators are a group of student leaders that have been certified through the Bacchus and Gamma Peer Education Network, to help educate their fellow peers about Alcohol and Drugs and the consequences associated with its misuse. The Peer Educators are in the business of promoting healthy choices and healthy behaviors

Peer Educators are responsible for implementing monthly programs. Programs deal with topics such as Binge Drinking, STD's, HIV/AIDS Education, Marijuana, Tobacco use and other ATOD areas. Peer Educators are also responsible for participating in events that the ATOD Prevention Center Sponsors such as:

  • National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week
  • Great American Smokeout
  • World AIDS Day
  • Sexual Responsibility Week
  • National Condom Month
  • National STD Awareness Month
