• The HAWK EXPRESS Account is a flexible spending account, which allows an individual to make purchases on a      debit basis.

• After funds are deposited into an individual's HAWK EXPRESS Account, one can begin making "cash free" purchases      at the University Dining Services, HAWKS NEST, OASIS, HAWK COPY CENTER, Student Services Center,      Bookstore, ORL Resource Center, and the HAWK CENTER.

• There is no service fee( Deposits to the HAWK EXPRESS Account can be made only at the HAWK CENTER with cash, check, money order or credit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover) using the transaction slip).

•  Checks and money orders should be made payable to UMES.

• The HAWK EXPRESS Account balance will carry forward from year to year  as long as you are enrolled at UMES.

• The customer is responsible for observing the amount charged during  each transaction and for monitoring    his/her own account balance.
