I
already work here, why should I give?
We each should give because we
work at UMES. We each care about UMES in our own way. The
Faculty-Staff Campaign allows each of us to support a part of
the University that is important to us.
Additionally, a strong
foundation of giving within the University sends an important
message to prospective donors in the community. If WE don't
give to the Faculty/Staff campaign, how can we expect anyone
else to support us?
Here is what our co-workers and
colleagues say:

campaign and have two endowed scholarships because I believe
in and love UMES. I want to help develop a financial
infrastructure that will be available to generations to come.

What can I give to?
There
are choices:
- Support Endowment and
Operating Scholarships (link to
complete list coming soon).
- Make an unrestricted gift
(not restricted for a specific purpose). Unrestricted
gifts enable the University to fund areas of critical need
and take advantage of unexpected opportunities that will benefit
the University.
How
can I give?
There
are five ways to make a contribution:

Complete a payroll deduction form to have a portion of your
gift automatically deducted from each paycheck. Please

- Send
a personal check made payable to UMES Foundation Inc. to the
Division of Institutional Advancement
(Alumni House, Backbone Rd. Princess Anne, MD 21853).
- Charge
your gift to your credit card (MasterCard, Visa) by phone
(410-651-7773).
- Make
a "gift-in-kind." In addition to gifts of cash, many people
donate books, pieces of art, lab equipment, etc.
- Give online by clicking
here.
