  WHY: 

       Proceeds from the event will help fund the UMES Carnival Gala Endowment, which will provide need-based and merit-based scholarships to UMES students.

HOW CAN I RESERVE MY TICKETS?

IS BLACK TIE OPTIONAL?

Yes, black tie is optional. 

WHAT TYPE OF ENTERTAINMENT WILL BE PROVIDED?

• 2 bands will perform at different times throughout the evening

• UMES Students will provide "Street Entertainment"

• Hotel and Restaurant Management students will prepare and serve a five course gourmet dinner

• A professional photographer will take souvenir photos of all couples

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

      Our police officers will direct traffic.  Buses will pick you up by your car and drop you  off in front of the Student Services Center.  Buses will take you back to your car.

HOW CAN I HELP WITH THE EVENT?

• Invite your friends, colleagues, and acquaintances and buy a table

• Donate an item to the auction

• Buy an ad in the program ($500 for a full page full color ad)

• Buy a ticket and donate it to a friend if you are unable to attend

• Help us promote the event by e-mailing this site to friends and colleagues

• Attend the committee meetings
