The Comptroller's Office prepares, records, maintains and reports all essential information to the UMES Vice President for Administrative Affairs and to other designated constituents. This information enables the administrative management of the University to make sound strategic decisions in the areas of planning, reporting and control. The financial stability depends on the accuracy and the consistency of the information submitted. Toward this goal, the Office of the Comptroller must monitor compliance with federal, state and university regulations to ensure the propriety of the University's financial data and activities.
