Ihekwoaba D. Onwudiwe received his Ph.D. from the School of Criminology at Florida State University.  He is currently a tenured Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at University of Maryland Eastern Shore. His research interests include terrorism and security, policing, theoretical criminology, African criminology, and race and crime. He has published articles on terrorism, political violence in America, Nigerian police, police pursuits, and black criminology. He is the author of The Globalization of Terrorism, a book that was published by Ashgate Press, London, 2001.
