African American Studies Center
NEW
The Oxford African American Studies Center provides students, scholars and librarians with more than 8,000 full-text articles focusing on the lives and events which have shaped African American and African history and culture. It includes over 1,300 images, primary sources with specially written commentaries, and maps. Charts and tables offer information on everything from demographics to government and politics to business and labor to education and the arts.
Biography Resource Center
This database combines biographies and full-text articles
from hundreds of periodicals. Search for people based on one or more personal
facts such as birth and death year, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or
gender, or combine criteria to create a highly-targeted custom search.
LION (Literature
Online)
Literature Online is a fully
searchable library of more than 350,000 works of English and American poetry,
drama and prose, plus biographies, bibliographies and key criticism and
reference resources.
Literature Resource Center
(LRC)
LRC is a the premier Internet
resource for information on literary figures from all time periods writing in
such genres as fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, history, journalism, and
more. LRC also includes selected full-text, excerpted, and commissioned critical
material from Gale's respected Literature Criticism and For Students Series.
Access Science
Access Science is an electronic version of the McGraw-Hill
Encyclopedia of Science and Technology with many features. You may search by
word or phrase or browse by topic. It includes a science dictionary, news
articles, research updates, biographies, information about data, tables and
tools, a question and more.

This sources contains the full-text of the 32-volume
Encyclopædia Britannica (plus thousands of additional articles and images not

Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia
Funk & Wagnalls New Encyclopedia database indexes over
25,000 records, covering an array of topics.

This database contains over 25,900 complete

information, and career information. All listed U.S. schools are accredited.
Hoover's Company Records
Hoover's provides brief information on 15,000
companies covered by Hoover's. Company Capsules and Profiles deliver
information on a company's location, summary financials, top competitors, top
officers, and more.
Testing & Education Reference Center
This database to
searches thousands of college and graduate school entries and identifies
scholarships that meet their financial needs. Use Testing & Education Reference
Center to take on-line practice tests and use test prep eBooks to obtain your
education goals.
Tests in Print
TIP serves as a comprehensive
bibliography to all known commercially available tests that are currently in
print in the English language. TIP provides vital information to users including
test purpose, test publisher, in-print status, price, test acronym, intended
test population, administration times, publication date(s), and test author(s).

Periodical Directory
This database contains magazines, journals,
newspapers, newsletters and webzines from over 200 countries.
WorldCat
