What are Almanacs?
Almanacs are reference works that contain collections of data and
statistics about various subjects. Almanacs are mainly used to look up factual
information.
- The most commonly used almanacs are those that provide factual information
on topics from "A - Z." The Frederick Douglass Library provides access to the
World Almanac and Book of Facts (Closed Reference | AY67.N5W7 2001).
