On the basic search screen, there are several search methods available:

-- Standard Search – Allows you to either broaden or narrow a search by using Boolean Operators (AND, OR, and NOT)

-  AND – allows you to narrow your search by combining search terms so that all of the results must contain all of the search terms used

- OR - allows you to broaden your search by combining search terms so that the results contain at least one of the search terms used

- NOT - excludes search terms so that the results DO NOT contain that particular search term

-- ERIC Number

-- Journal or Document -- allows you to limit your results to be either journal articles or ERIC documents

NOTE: You may limit your results to: Full Text, Magazine name, Peer Reviewed publication, periodicals available in the Library, and the full text from JSTOR.
