What: Author John Head discusses his book Standing in the Shadows with Reverend M. Luther Hill, Dr. Thomas Mosley, Dr. Glenn Brooks, Mr. Larry Watson, Dr. Elton Maddox, Mr. Karl Binns, Chief Lawrence Wright, Mr. Eric Williams, Reverend Lewis N. Watson, and Mr. Marvin Webb. Followed by meet and greet and book-signing with the author.
Who: John Head - Former mental health reporter and features writer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and a former reporter for USA TODAY and the Detroit Free Press. His first book, We Are the Land’s: The Biography of a Homeplace, was named best memoir by the Georgia Writers Association in 1999. (Random House, 2008)
