Greetings from the Richard
A. Henson Center:
The Richard A. Henson Center is a mini-conference center located on
the campus of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, in the historic town
of Princess Anne, Maryland. The town dates back to 1733. In addition to
being home to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, the town also has many
buildings and landmarks of historic interest. The Eastern Shore of Maryland
offers a number of other historical landmarks, buildings and tourist attractions.
The relatively short time (only two to three hours away) from Princess Anne
to the cultural centers of Washington D.C., Baltimore and Annapolis, Maryland,
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Wilmington, Delaware, makes the Henson Center
at UMES an ideal location for small business conferences, administrative retreats,
family outings, wedding receptions, weekend excursions for families, or couples
and more. Just give the Center a call at (410) 651- 8100 to make reservations
or to arrange a consultation on the services available through the Richard
A. Henson Center.
