Welcome to the UMES IEEE Web page!
The purpose of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers Student Branch is to further the education of its members and to relate academics to industrial applications. We organize several events throughout the year, including inviting guest speakers,
sponsoring corporate presentations, and organizing student activities (study groups, resume workshops).
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore IEEE website was set up as a resource for its members and as an informative site for the general public. Information about the organization, its student officers, student projects, upcoming IEEE events, online membership forms, and current news can be accessed by anyone. Members will also have access to the minutes of the meetings and a bulletin board where they can voice their concerns, comments and opinions.
They will also be able to access a test bank for their engineering classes, where previous year exams are archived (pending professor permission) for use as a study aid for upcoming exams. Links to Professor and TA sites will also be provided.
