Dear Educator:Welcome to the Spring 2002 program schedule for the Lower Eastern Shore Shared Educational Network (LESSEN). I hope you will take advantage of this broadcast of three ITFS channels from a collaborative project developed by Salisbury University, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Wor-Wic Community College.
On the ITFS A-Channel, LESSEN will broadcast 'live" and "re-aired" satellite town meetings from the US Department of Education, and a series of "live" electronic field trips from Colonial Williamsburg. The field trips will also be rebroadcast. An additional program from SERC on technology leadership is also available. We will continue to broadcast Deutsche Welle-TV on the B-Channel at the present time, and NASA-TV on the C-Channel. You will be notified of any program or channel changes as they become available.
The schedule for the A-Channel will begin on Tuesday, January 15, 2002 and continue to
June 21, 2002. Please look over the schedule and program descriptions to give you details and related web-site information.
