The University of Maryland Eastern Shore is the lead institution of the LMRCSC. It offers undergraduate degrees in marine science, environmental science, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and computer science, an MS in Natural Resource Management, and MS and PhD degrees in Marine Estuarine Environmental Science and toxicology. Facilities Research facilities at UMES include an Analytical Chemistry Laboratory, an Aquaculture Laboratory, an Aquatic Research Facility, and a Molecular Technology Facility.
The University has access to four small (16 and 25 ft) craft for research and training in the inland waterways of Maryland.
