The Physical Plant Work Control Desk receives work requests, prepares work orders, assists in determining work priorities, distributes, assigns , reviews and closes out the completed  work.  We compile reports concerning work status, downtime and delays.

 

In order to report items that need repair, the Work Control Desk is connected to the iServiceDeskThe iServiceDesk allows our clients to enter their own Work Request and query TMA for the status of both Work Requests and Work Orders.

 

iServiceDesk allows the client the ability to:

 

  Create and query material requests in real time

  Log work requests in real time

  Display open and closed Work Orders by selecting the identified building

  Display query for select Work Requests and Work Orders

  Check status of Work Orders and Work Requests

  Publish user-defined facility news page

  Publish emergency procedures

  Link to other sites

 

By implementing iServiceDesk, Physical Plant can improve the quality of services and increase their response time by providing current updated data.
