Parking Violation Summons and Sanctions
- Parking summons are payable within 15 calendar days from the date issued. Fines not paid within 15 calendar days will incur a $10.00 late fee and be attached to the original fine. Flagging of vehicle In-state and Out of State will result in your state vehicle registration renewal being withheld for failure to pay violations; added to the university accounts of students. To pay parking fine, please report to University Police Department between the hours of 8:30 a.m and no later than 3:00pm.
- If you wish to contest a parking ticket and request for trial, please check the block located on the Back of the summons, print your first and last name with your signature and address in the designated area and return summons to University Police Dept. within 10 calendar days from date summons was issued. The District Court of Maryland will notify you of a trial date.
- Any University Police Officer, Security Officer or Student Security Officers can issue parking citations for the following violations:
