Can I choose my roommate?

If each of you mail in the $300.00 deposits together or come in together with the contracts signed you may request a roommate.  However, it is never a guarantee.

When are room deposits due?

There is no deadline when room deposits are due, but we do recommend that you mail your $300.00 deposit in ASAP upon acceptance to the University so you do not miss out on housing.

When will I receive my room assignment?

For the fall semester you will receive the assignment late June or early July. For the spring semester you will receive it in early to middle January.

If I owe the University money, will I lose my room assignment?

For the fall semester, if your student account does not show a ZERO balance by July 1st of each year, you are subject to losing your room assignment. For the spring semester, if your student account does not show a ZERO balance by January 15th, you are subject to losing your room assignment.

Can I request a refund of my deposit?

For the fall semester, you have until August 1st to request your deposit back. It must be in writing via fax, e-mail or a sent letter to Residence Life on or before August 1st. For the spring semester, you have until January 1st to request your room deposit back. Remember it must be in writing on before August 1st.

What things can or should I bring to college?

You may not bring toasters or anything that shows an open flame. Pets such as dogs, cats or snakes are not permissible. (Click here to locate a list of suggested items to bring).
