Application Process and Guidelines for Title III Faculty Development Travel Funds

  • Utilizing Faculty Development to Enhance the Learning Environment to Improve Student Success


    Title III Activity has funds available to support faculty attendance and participation in off-campus conferences. Only domestic conferences that provide education and training specifically related to teaching and learning  for the enhancement of undergraduate programs will be considered. Faculty can request up to $1,500 in financial support for registration fees, pre-conference workshops, lodging, airfare or mileage, and meals.

    To apply for use of Title III funds for domestic professional development travel, please complete the application form below.
    Your application materials must be received by the Office of the Provost and Vice President at least six weeks before travel date.

    • Please read the guidelines carefully and be sure to include as part of the application all requested information and documentation.
    • If your request for funding is approved and you will be using a University Credit Card to make payment for expenses that have been approved by Title III, you must complete a Title III Visa Prior Approval Form.
    • All requisitions and forms must be sent to the Office of the Provost and Vice President for signature approval before going to Title III for Dr. McKinney's signature.
