Internships and Cooperatives

  • Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA)

Beginning the Summer of 2007, the Aviation Science Program at UMES will begin regular internship opportunities working directly with the Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA).  In cooperation with MAA's Division of Human Resources, students will be exposed to various operations at Baltimore Washington International (BWI) and Martin State (MTN) airports.  This cooperation is geared at exposing students to daily operations at  both Part 139 certified and non-Par 139 (General Aviation) airports in the state of Maryland.
