    Dr. Monisha Das is currently teaching courses in marketing. She has a Bachelors degree from the University of Calcutta, a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Bombay, an MBA in Marketing from J. Bajaj Institute of Management, University of Bombay and a PhD from Golden Gate University, CA. Prior to joining UMES, Dr. Das taught at Widener University, The College of New Jersey and Rutgers University. She was a recipient of a Fulbright grant to do research in Marketing in Japan. The field work led to several award winning refereed publications. She is the Sam Walton Scholar at UMES and advises the SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) chapter as well as the AMA (American Marketing Association) collegiate chapter. She has advised several teams for the Federal Reserve Challenge competition. Dr. Das has developed the Marketing curriculum and redesigned several marketing courses at UMES.
