Signal Processing and Intelligent Sensing Laboratory

The SPIS-Lab aims 1) to advance signal processing theory and technologies in various applications and 2) to promote student research and learning. The main focus is the development of theory, algorithms, and tools for processing signals and in understanding of how (active and adaptive) sensor systems to perceive, interact with, and adapt to their environments under a number of modalities (electromagnetic, acoustical, visual, and chemical). The SPIS lab applies innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration to accelerate the growth of signal processing theory and applications in radar, sonar, wireless communications, medical imaging, and structure health monitoring.

Both Undergraduate and Graduate Research Assistantship are currently available. Please send me your resume and a personal statement explaining your interest, your past and current research activities. Students with good record in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering are encouraged to apply.
