Alphabetical List of Databases and some E-Journals

  • Databases are chosen by the Frederick Douglass Library to complement the academic subjects taught at UMES.  These databases have been chosen to provide students, faculty, and staff with the best scholarly information available for each academic area.

E-Journals are online versions of print journals.  The content is usually identical to the print version of the journal, though some e-journals have extra material online, and there are a few that have no print version.  Many of the e-journals the library has access to are also available in print in the Serials Department (on ground floor).  You can browse the contents of the e-journals to find a particular article, or you can search the e-journal on a specific topic.  Before beginning your search, make sure you choose to search "within the journal".
