GIS Day

University of Maryland Eastern Shore
will be hosting a GIS Day event on
Wednesday November 18, 2009
from 1pm to 6pm in the Richard A. Henson Center.
This event is FREE and open to the public. Please come join us for this event.
GIS Day is an international event celebrating geographic applications in over 80 countries. Geographic Information System (GIS) users and vendors around the world are asked to open their doors to schools, businesses, and the general public to showcase
GIS applications in education, research, the workplace and everyday life.
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Geospatial Information Technology (GeoTech) Lab is hosting GIS Day on November 18, 2009. The event will be held in the Henson Center on the campus of UMES from 1 pm – 6 pm. Activities include booth
presentations, equipment demonstrations and a map gallery. Displays will focus on the use of GIS on the Eastern Shore.
