Social Media Coordinator


  • Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a full-time social media coordinator to plan and implement a social media strategy that supports college goals, builds the college’s visibility and enhances the college’s online image and reputation.  This position is expected to respond to social media posts during evening and weekend hours. 

    Duties include administering the official college social media accounts; identifying, creating, editing and publishing engaging content; monitoring the college’s online presence; and analyzing metrics related to campaign effectiveness, engagement and general trends.

    Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or other related field;  three years of proven work experience; strong computer, analytical, organizational, human relations, and oral and written communication skills;  familiarity with social media scheduling software; and a valid driver's license.

    Preference will be given to candidates with a background in higher education.
