Student Research Assistant (STEAM)

  • Department of Engineering and Aviation Sciences/ Agriculture and Natural Sciences  

    UMES Undergraduate or Graduate students in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture/Aviation and Mathematics).

    Hours: 20 hours per week (during winter or summer additional hours may be assigned)

    Responsibilities: Hourly student research assistants to work on ongoing projects in the field of robotics and /or precision agriculture. Students will be assigned work on team projects following an interview with Dr. Nagchaudhuri and/or participation in weekly team meetings. Students who are willing to contribute significantly and have experience working on similar projects are encouraged to contact Dr. Nagchaudhuri in EASC Room 2013 (x 6479).  Preference will be given to juniors and seniors with GPA above 2.8. However, freshman and sophomores who have attended weekly project meetings held in EASC 1064 will be also considered.
