    • Our most sincere and heartfelt congratulations go out to our colleague Dr. Caddie Putnam Rankin, ORLD Assistant Professor and winner of the UMES Graduate School's 2015 Promising Scholar Award. Caddie was honored with the award on April 22, 2015 during the UMES Graduate Education Week. The Promising Scholar Award recognizes an untenured junior faculty member whose research, teaching and service to graduate and undergraduate students show significant signs of promise that the individual is on a trajectory of a successful career in the professoriate. Caddie is very humbled by the award but is very deserving of the recognition. Way to go Caddie!
