Foreign Film Night free and open to public

    PRINCESS ANNE, MD-(March 29) A foreign film night will be held at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, April 18, at 7 p.m. in the Student Services Center Theater.  The event is free and open to the public.

    The featured film, "The Road Home," directed by Yimou Zhang, is in Chinese with English subtitles.  The film has received numerous honors, including the Audience Award at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival.

    The first in a series, the event is sponsored by the university's Department of English and Modern Languages and the Foreign Language Instructional Center.  Call 410-651-6543 for more information.
