UMES Students Selected for Who’s Who Honors

  • Sunday, April 15, 2007

Who's Who Among Students exists as one of the most highly regarded and long-standing honors programs in the nation. For the students - the outstanding campus leaders of the year - national recognition by the Who's Who program marks a pinnacle of scholastic achievement.

Selections to Who's Who Among Students are made each fall by individual schools. Campus nominating committees, created to nominate the upper-classmen and graduate students eligible for the program, are composed of representatives from the faculty and administration. These are the young adults who enhance the positive image of American youth through their contributions to community and school.

UMES students who were tapped for Who's Who this year include AmakoeAjavon, Brian Ajayi, Stephen Alt, Rachel Andrews, Jacob Bauer, Stephanie Braxton, Evan Burton, Kristen Butler, IshaChoudhary, Mark DeMorra, Robert Duma, LaKeesha Franklin, Andrew Gates, Robert Henry, Xavier Henry, Kimberly Jennings, Heesung Kim. Christine King, Gloria Laryea, Kera Morris, Chi'Quana Murray, Crystal Myers, Liane Seaforth, Kelly Shaw, Stephanie Spencer, Freddie Valez, Angela Watson, Brittany Williams, Oluseun Williams and Barbara Wise.
