    PCAT

The Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) may be taken at any time, but no later than January of the year that you are seeking admission. Please contact the Psychological Corporation at 1-800-622-3231 or visit their Website www.pcatweb.info for a PCAT application and additional PCAT information.

There is no required minimum score that applicants must obtain in order to be admitted into the School of Pharmacy. However, scores above the 65th percentile rank are viewed favorably and scores below the 35th percentile rank are viewed negatively.

    GPA

The minimum GPA for admission is 2.75, both science/math GPA and overall GPA. The GPAs are calculated based on the course requirements listed below.  Please note that a student must obtain a "C" or better in all pre-requisite classes and that your final science/math and overall pre-requisite GPA must be a 2.75 or higher.  For repeated courses, the highest grade will replace the previous grade for up to 2 courses.  For additional repeated courses, the average of all attempts will be considered.

    FOREIGN CREDITS

It is recommended that prerequisite coursework be completed at an accredited college or university in the United States.  However, foreign credits that have been reviewed by World Education Service (WES) are accepted.

CREDIT BY EXAMINATION (e.g. AP, CLEP)

Credit by examination (e.g. AP, CLEP) may be granted for some courses. AP Scores of 3 or better are accepted for social science, humanities courses, and math courses.  A score of 4 or better is required for science courses.  Online courses are not accepted for science courses.
