How to Apply

  • Early Decision

The UMES School of Pharmacy participates in the Early Decision process through PharmCAS.  The application deadline for early decision is September 5, 2017. PharmCAS must receive all transcripts by this deadline.  Applications will automatically be changed to regular decision if application fees and/or transcripts are received by PharmCAS after this deadline.

The eligibility requirements for early decision are similar to the requirements for the regular admissions process.  Please visit the following page for general information about the early decision process: https://portal.pharmcas.org/pharmcasHelpPages/instructions-and-faq/pharmacy-designations-school-information/early-decision/

    Initial Application Procedure

The School of Pharmacy at UMES requires the Pharmacy College Application Service (PharmCAS), a centralized online application service utilized by the majority of pharmacy schools nationwide.  PharmCAS Application (www.pharmcas.org) includes: a personal statement (which outlines a student’s interest in pharmacy), 3 Letters of recommendation, and official transcripts from all regionally accredited colleges or universities previously attended. Applicants may have their PCAT scores submitted directly to PharmCAS (PCAT Code 0104) or to UMES (PCAT Code 0100). Please contact the Psychological Corporation at 1-800-622-3231 or visit their website www.pcatweb.info for a PCAT application and additional PCAT information.  The application deadline is February 1, 2018.

    Additional Required Application Materials
