    Dr. Freeman, Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Administration, teaches in the areas of introduction to health care systems, pharmacy management, clinical research, drug literature evaluation, scientific writing and research.

    Prior to joining UMES, he was professor of pharmaceutical sciences and director of graduate programs at Texas A&M School of Pharmacy.  He also held executive positions in health economics and outcomes research, public policy, strategic pricing and licensing and business development at companies such as AstraZeneca, Sanofi and legacy companies now part of Pfizer.  He is the author of over 80 publications in diverse fields including pharmaceutical industry economics and finance, outcomes research and health policy.  He is an advisor to the Korean Health Industries Development Institute (Seoul) and a former advisor to the Organization for Economic Development (Paris).
